38.5 Weeks (but who is counting?!)....and the Photo Shoot!

Now that I'm less than 2 weeks from my due date, I started thinking that we should probably get a few belly pictures taken that weren't taken by my iPhone!

Mark, our fabulous neighbor takes great pictures with his fancy SLR camera, offered to take some shots of John and I. We won't bore you with them all, but here are a few...

Stroller Ramblings...

I used to be very excited about the arrival of a box from Nordstrom (David Jones for you Aussies)...but now I've moved on to baby gear apparently...

I was a little unprepared for how excited I was about the arrival of the long-awaited Mountain Buggy stroller/pram, which FINALLY arrived yesterday after almost two months of waiting!

Mountain Buggy is a brand of stroller made in New Zealand, which came highly recommended by Kate in Sydney. I almost wanted to put the dog in it yesterday and go for a spin, but John said no way...

1. Mountain Buggy with the infant carrier all set up. (For anyone who cares, the infant part comes off later and turns into a regular seat and sun cover. :) )

2. The inside of the stroller. Check out the little pink round thing on the right side...that is the stroll-ometer that John gave me for Christmas...it tells the time, temperature and how far I've walked. I'm pretty sure it also makes breakfast.

Ok...enough rambling about a stroller!!

36 Weeks...The Countdown Has Begun!

We wanted to share a few more pictures....a couple of me at 36 weeks pregnant:

Yes, the bump is growing finally!

And a couple of very special pictures of John and I from the day (during week 8) that we first saw baby on the ultrasound and heard her heartbeat.

Yes, I do look like I've been crying in my picture...I may have shed a few tears upon hearing that strong and steady heartbeat...

No tears for John...he's just looking thrilled at the news that he'll soon become a daddy...

We are FINALLY starting to make some progress deciding on baby's name...hopefully we will have it finalized in the next week or so! Given that we are both project managers, I sometimes can't believe that we've left the name for the last decision...

And our other big task - figure out the car seat!
