I'm seriously late in getting this installment out! It's almost time for Month 28...but without further ado, here is Avalon's Month 27!
Avalon was pretty excited about Easter. She opened some little presents at home, had a taste of chocolate and went to church with us.

We got Avalon a new travel bed in advance of our trip to Mexico. Avalon calls it her "Mexico bed". Here she is trying it out for the first time...

Avalon loves the fountains at the Metlox Center in Manhattan Beach. We've spent a few Sunday afternoons there letting her play, including Mother's Day. My third Mother's Day was so nice! It was great to celebrate with Avalon and hubby. :) Also, big Mother's Day love to my mom and John's mom.
John took Avalon into a hurricane simulator....she did NOT like the wind and loud noises inside!!
We've been great, although busy...new baby on the way, launching a business, and trying to keep up with a two year old...the days are absolutely packed...
Avalon is happy as ever. Her talking is amazing - she can express the most complicated thoughts now. She's running, jumping, balancing, playing, and sometimes giving us a crazy tantrum! :) But, mostly she is a very good girl.

We also spent some time on Easter at Rhonda and Jerry's house. Rhonda made Avalon an adorable bunny cake!
We also had a fun kids egg hunt at our friend Leah and Moz's house. Avalon and the other kiddos ran around opening up tons of little eggs...
And to cap off the Easter festivities, we had a little egg hunt at a park for our Mommy and Me class. Yes, Avalon got 4 easter egg hunts and little gifts at all of them. She is one lucky little girl!

We spent a long weekend in Seattle visiting my parents and seeing some friends. Avalon got a chance to hang with Isabel and Kaylee before we left. She absolutely loves the big girls!
We still spend a day a week in our Mommy and Me class. Avalon loves the playtime, especially when we get to run around outside.

Avalon had her first trip to the dentist this month! She did great. She let them check her teeth, brush and polish them. She took a doll and the dentist gave her doll a check-up, too. :)
The California Science Center is a fabulous place to take kids. We hadn't been before, but recently took Avalon and we all had fun.
