Aria (Week Three) and Avalon (Month 31)

Hi all,

Aria's third week was especially great because John took some time off work, so that the four of us could do some family bonding.

We went to the South Coast Botanical Garden in Palos Verdes, which has over 80 acres of gardens, including a lake and kids garden area, and vegetable plantings. Avalon especially had so much fun running around!

Aria's umbilical cord stump also finally fell off, so she got her first real bath. She loved being in the water, just like Avalon did (and still does) when she was a newborn.

Avalon also had her first day of the Autumn session of her new Mommy and Me class. She loved it. She especially likes the swings in the play yard.

Aria hung out in her stroller while Avalon had all of the fun in class! :)

We took Avalon to the kids arcarde at the Redondo Beach pier. She rode on the carousel and some of the other kiddie rides, won some eggs with rings inside, and ate some treats. She loved it!

We also went to a friend's 4th birthday party at My Gym for Kids in Redondo Beach. Avalon had so much fun jumping in the ball pit, riding on the zip line and eating a seriously big ice cream!

That's Avalon face down in the ball pit!

Contemplating how to attack the ice cream...

About to ride the zip line...

Enjoying her first official lollipop!

More fun times ahead....hope that all of you are doing great!

All our love, xo

Aria's Newborn Photo Shoot

Hi all,

Aria is photogenic! She takes gorgeous pictures, just like Avalon...

We had an amazing newborn photo shoot for Aria on September 5 - when Aria was just 6 days old. Thank you to Juan Turcios, a great South Bay photographer, who helped us to capture such a special moment in our life!

Without further ado, we'd like to share these images of our newest daughter and the whole family...

I received a card the other day that said that a baby is a gift for the entire world. While I'm not quite ready to share Aria with the whole world yet :) , we are feeling such gratitude for this amazing gift that we have been given.

All our love, xo
