Aria (Week Seven) and Avalon (Month 32)

Hi all,

Aria's 7th week was great!

John's Mom arrived in California, and it was sooooo great to have family arrive to visit us! I especially LOVED getting some extra loving help...Avalon had a fun Grandma to play with, Aria had someone to cuddle her, and John and I got someone to spoil us with lots of help with the house/Bronte/the girls/the cooking, etc. Thank you, thank you Mum...we are so grateful. And, also, we loved the company!

I got Avalon a cool little tea set...which she uses for daily "tea parties", pretend birthday parties, and feeding her dolls. :)

She is just so cute!

Avalon wearing actual big girl underwear! It doesn't happen every day, but she is partially potty trained now (to be fully trained very soon, I think/hope :) )...so we've invested in some real underwear!

Saturday, October 15 - - John's Mom arrived! Here she is having her first cuddle with her newest granddaughter!

They melt my heart...






























Daddy needs to get some cuddle time, too!

We went to the pumpkin patch and had so much fun! Avalon fed goats, went on a pony ride, checked out the pumpkins, jumped in the bounce-house, and wore herself out. It was a good day.

Aria (Week Six) and Avalon (Month 31)

Hi all,

Aria is already six weeks old! Both Aria and Avalon are doing great, except they both have sinus infections. :( Avalon got a cold and Aria got it soon afterwards, and after lingering for a couple of weeks, the doctor decided that it was time for antibiotics. Hopefully they are both feeling much better soon.


Here are some pictures from the week....

Avalon riding her trike - which she got from Mark and Mary (her Godparents). She's mastered it and is getting ready for a real bike soon! :)

I love these pictures of the girls on the bed because they are making the faces in each of them! First a straight face...
















Then it looks like they are both smiling! But, truth be told, I'm pretty sure that Aria was about to start crying. :)

Aria is getting bigger and bigger...now around 13 pounds.

We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of John's mom in Los Angeles! She's going to be here for almost two weeks to see the girls. Pictures soon!
