Aria (Week 15) and Avalon (Month 33)

Hi all,

Avalon and Aria met Santa Claus for the first time during Week 15. This was a big moment...a Santa picture where Avalon doesn't have a tear stained face! This was the first time that she was actually happy to sit in his lap. She told him that she really wants a jump rope...which she will find under the tree for sure. And yes, it is pink! :)

Avalon got to open a few presents on St Nick's day...December 6. She was pretty excited!

My mom gave Avalon and Aria a kids nativity set. The big box was pretty thrilling for Avalon and she has had alot of fun moving the pieces around. She especially loves "the baby" and likes to put him in random places in the living room. :)

Avalon's favorite shoes for dress up are the ones she wore to Aria's baptism. She can put them on herself! Athough not usually on the right foot...

We had a fun story time at the library...

More cuddle time...

And finally, Avalon had some fun with a parachute at Mommy and Me!

Hope that your December is great and that everyone is getting into the spirit of the season!

All our love, xo

Aria (Week 14) and Avalon (Month 33)

Hi all,

Here we go....getting caught up on the past couple of week of photos!

Week 14 was the last week of November...my parents finished up their month long Southern California trip and spent a couple of last days with us. They helped me to get the Christmas tree put up and my Dad and Avalon got the train running around the tree! Photos of this coming below...

Aria contiues to nap pretty much only in her swing while swaddled. She loves it - but I'm already starting to notice that she is getting big for it. She's almost maxed out the length of it, and unless it is on the highest setting, it barely moves because she is so heavy now! At three months she was around 25 inches long and almost 17 pounds.

Avalon and her Pop-Pop setting up the train! My Dad gave Avalon this awesome electric train at her first Christmas. It's a Nagel family tradition as my Dad received an electric train at his first Christmas...

Avalon and my Mom looking at a little nativity figurine that my mom gave her.

Our first dinner out as a four-some! We went to El Gringo in Hermosa Beach...

Aria hanging out in her vibrating chair!

Avalon posing with her doll, Lexi, in her cradle :)

Without further delay...onto Week 15!

All our love,

Aria (Week 13) and Avalon (Month 33)

Hi all,

Week 13...this was a hard week of photos to get posted since there are SO many! This week contained Thanksgiving and Aria's baptism. My parents and sister were in California to celebrate both events with us, and we all felt very grateful for their presence. We missed John's family, but are hoping to see them soon!

The girls spend some cuddle time together each day. Avalon has learned the word "babysit" so she says that she's babysitting Aria when they sit together. Very cute.

I love this photo...Avalon loves her little sister so much.

Thanksgiving was fun! Our friends Leah and her daughter, Mahdi joined us. Leah made some little hats for the girls, which Avalon and I are trying out! :)
