Joy is having Avalon at home! John and I are enjoying her fully.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like she is growing so fast and becoming a big girl already!

Avalon Grace Has Arrived!

With much excitement, John and I would like to annouce that our daughter, Avalon Grace, has finally arrived into the world.....

Avalon Grace Sun-Ah Kim

• Born: February 16th, 2009 at 8:52am PST - - 11 days after her due date!
• Weight: 8 pounds 12 ounces
• Length: 20 inches

We just got home from the hospital today. We were originally supposed to come home on February 18 in the morning, but we found out that Avalon had some jaundice, so they needed to treat her with billi lights in an isolete. Her test results came back with much improved results this morning, so our doctor approved her to go home. We are thrilled to be out of the hospital and back into our house!

Avalon's birth was fabulous...such an exciting day for us. I'll take some time very soon to post about her birth story.

No News Yet...

8 days overdue and baby is still hanging on... The doctor says that she's still doing great and mommy is ok, too.

40 Long Weeks...

Well, today was baby's arrival due date...but somehow I find myself still pregnant! Apparently the baby didn't get the message that it is time to vacate it's temporary home.

John and I will keep waiting until she decides that the time is right. We'll be sure to post an update once we have one!
