Five Weeks Old

It feels like time is flying by...my girl is already five weeks old! She keeps getting cuter and is definitely learning each day. Still, most of her days are filled with eating, sleeping, and keeping mommy and daddy amused with little noises and funny faces!

Avalon is trying hard to control her neck/head on her own. She's strong and can lift her head up, but gets tired and face-plants into our chests pretty often!

She's been giving mini-smiles for a while, but in the last couple of days they are changing. Now her smiles are bigger and it's clear that they are intentional - mainly in reaction to smiles and silly sounds from John and I. Little gorgeous smiles are just what us sleep deprived new parents need! :)
