Aria (Week 17) and Avalon (Month 34)

Hi all,

Feeling good now because I'm getting caught up on posting these! Yeah!

Week 17 was a fun week - - Christmas! John had the week off work, and my parents were in town from Seattle. Avalon was veeeeeeeeeery excited about the holiday.

We baked gingerbread cookies and fudge brownies to get ready for my parents arrival. Avalon was a great assistant baker, and helped decorate everything (including herself and the floor!) with sprinkles!

I love how seriously she is taking her work... :)

Aria hung out with us and watched the fun. Hopefully next year Aria will be able to participate!

I think she was hoping that she could taste some of the cookie, too...

My parents arrived on Christmas eve. There were SO many presents under the tree that we started opening things on Christmas eve...then the rest got opened on Christmas day. Avalon was overwhelmed!

Christmas morning brought a whole new level of excitement....a BIG GIRL BIKE!!! (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Kim!)

Avalon was surprised and so happy to see her new Diamondback Mini Della Cruise beach cruiser!

Aria watched the fun from her stroller. :) Aria turned 4 months just after Christmas and at her doctor visit she weighed in at a hefty 18 pounds and 27 inches long!

We went for a walk on the Strand on Boxing Day, and Avalon showed us her balance beam skills.
